                   AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 6958, AS
                   AMENDED, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, SO AS
                   TO REZONE A TRACT OF LAND LOCATED AT 5399,
                   5401 AND 5403 WILBANKS DRIVE, BEING ON THE
                   NORTHEAST LINE OF WILBANKS DRIVE NORTHWEST OF
                   HIXSON PIKE FROM M-2 LIGHT INDUSTRIAL ZONE TO
                   C-2 CONVENIENCE COMMERCIAL DISTRICT.

              	   SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
         CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Ordinance No. 6958, as
         amended, known as the Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is 
hereby
         amended so as to rezone:
             
              A tract of land located at 5399, 5401 and 5403 Wilbanks
              Drive, being on the northeast line of Wilbanks Drive
              northwest of Hixson Pike.  An unplatted tract beginning
              on the northwest line of Wilbanks Drive some 27.42 feet
              northwest of the intersection of the northeast line of
              Wilbanks Drive with the northwest line of Hixson Pike,
              thence with Wilbanks Drive southwest 45.47 feet and
              northwest 195 feet, thence northeast 286.65 feet, thence
              northeast 30 feet, thence southeast 357.58 feet to the
              northwest line of Wilbanks Drive, the point of
              beginning.
             
         from M-2 Light Industrial Zone to C-2 Convenience Commercial
         District.
              	   SECTION 2.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this 
Ordinance
         shall take effect two weeks from and after its passage, the 
public
         welfare requiring it.
